“God commissioned His ministers to proclaim and offer this covenant of grace to all people, and to earnestly entreat them to accept it and be reconciled to Him; no one is excluded.”
Richard Baxter
“For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” – Romans 10:12-13
The gospel message is not to be kept among a select few, but we, God’s people, have been charged to be the witness of God to the ends of the earth. We have been commanded to proclaim the truth of God to all without exception. H.B. Charles said at the 2022 Shepherds conference that “all are called be preachers, but not all are called to be pastors.” We are all called to proclaim the good news. Christ, Himself says this, “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.” Without exception all that come to Christ, truly come to Him, He will not cast out. How are they to respond to the call if we don’t go and preach that call? Let us go now, and preach the offer of eternal life, found only in Jesus Christ.
